Under the picture a four-line-quotation from Byron’s poem in Liszt’s handwriting: "Heres a sigh to those who love me / And a smile to those who hate; / And, whatever skys above me, / Heres a heart for every fate. / (Byron)" Below it,a copy of Liszts signature.
