On the picture are three gyipsies under a tree. One of them is playing the violin, the other is lying in the grass, the third one is smoking his pipe. Caption under the picture: „DIE DREI ZIGEUNER / nach Lenaus gleichnamigen Gdichte. / Von dem oesterreichischen Kunst-Vereine zu Wien 1859.” Under the picture in the left side: „Gemalt u. lith. v. A. Schönn”. Under the picture in the middle: „Eigenthum des oesterreichischen Kunstvereins”. Under the picture on the right side: „Druck v. Reiffenstein & Rösch in Wien.”
