We can see Lisbon from fortress Almeida. In the foreground is a rock. There is a church, a castle, and there are houses, soldiers too, and a group of four countrymen. In the background we can see the river Tajo with sailboats. On the other side of the river is a city. Above on the right side: "XXXVII" Under the picture on the right side: "Grünewald sc." Under the picture in the middle: "LISSABON VOM FORT ALMEIDA / jenseits des Tajo." Down on the left side: "Aus der Kunstanstalt des Bibliogr. Instituts in Hildburg." Down in the right side: "Eigenthum der Verleger." The publisher was the Kunstanstalt des Bibliographischen Instituts in Hildburgh.
