Under the picture, printed text: "ERKEL FERENCZ / a magyar dalmű megteremtője, a nemzeti színház főzeneigazgatója, / az országos magyar királyi zeneakadémia igazgatója, / Ferencz József rend lovagja, az összes hazai dalárdák főkarnagya stb. stb."
