A caricature, full-length figure in left profile. Liszt has a disproportionately big head and long hair. He is putting his hands in his pockets. He is wearing a redingote, trousers and spiked shoes. Down in the middle: " Mr. Liszt, tout … [unreadable] excepté la / chevelure qui est plus longue et / plus blanche que jamais." The paper is foxed and is embossed with serried stripes. It was probably cut out from an album and stuck on a bigger, white cardboard. On the reverse: parts of two other caricatures: 1/ a pen-drawing (blue ink), the lower back part of the body of a man, beside a table (?). The caption: "La vie humaine!!! / Messieurs! regardez l? toujours / par derriere!" 2. a pen-drawing (brown ink): the legs of a man with an umbrella. Faded caption: "Mr. Amédée Pichot."
