Double-sided-medal. On the obverse: Liszt’s half-length portrait looking right (coat, cassock, collar). Circular inscription on the left: „FRANZ”, on the right: „LISZT”. On the reverse: laurel wreath with inscription divided into six parts. The wreath is bisected by a flower and a horizontal line. Inscribed: “GEBOREN / IN / RAIDING 1811 / Zu / BAYREUTH 1886”. Its rim is smooth.
