Double-sided medal. On the obverse: Liszt’s open-collared portrait turning slightly to the right. Signed above his left shoulder: “TÓTH S”. Circular inscription: „175 ÉVE SZÜLETETT, 100 ÉVE MEGHALT LISZT FERENC 1986” [Liszt was born 175 years ago and died 100 years ago]. On the reverse: a modern high-rise building surrounded by one-storied houses. On both sides an arched lamppost with small flags, in front of the buildings a fountain. The circular inscription reads: “20 ÉVES A FŐISKOLAI SZINTŰ ZENETANÁRKÉPZÉS DEBRECEN” [Twenty years of academy-level music teachers’ training in Debrecen]. Rim: smooth.
