On the obverse: half-length portrait of János Richter turning slightly to the right. He has combed back hair, waxed moustache, a long beard and glasses. Circular inscription: “A RICHTER JÁNOS HANGVERSENYTEREM AVATÁSÁNAK EMLÉKÉRE – 2001” [In memory of the inauguration of the János Richter concert hall]. On the reverse: modern representation of figures in a circular form appearing inside like note heads. Circular inscription: „GYŐRI FILHARMONIKUS ZENEKAR – ALAPÍTVA – 1894” [Philharmonic Orchestra of Győr – founded in 1894].
